Technology Outdoors: Early and First Level Little Bugs Abercorn Tuesday 10th November 12.30pm to 3pm

£30.00

Technology is about much more than screens! Join Prairie & Pine for a practical course exploring how outdoor experiences can support the Technologies curriculum across Early and First Level.

Explore opportunities for children to investigate materials, work with textiles, design, build and solve problems using natural and everyday resources. We’ll consider how digital tools can support outdoor discovery, alongside practical experiences that encourage creativity, curiosity and independence.

Throughout the session, we’ll connect these experiences to Curriculum for Excellence, exploring how children can plan, make, test and improve their ideas. Sustainability will run through our approach, considering how materials can be chosen carefully, reused and repurposed.

Designed for early years practitioners and primary teachers, this hands-on session will provide practical ideas to adapt for your own setting and help you recognise the rich technological learning already happening outdoors.
